I quite like the sound of the other training courses on the skillsmatter website, they seem very focused on

open source tools and methodologies like Agile development, Test Driven Development, Extreme programming etc.

They do have a section for Sun Certified Java Programmer but it isn't really that good and seems a bit out of date.
