XHTML 101 - Free HTML Course
I was on a forum which was talking about free training and I saw this one. HTML is one of the things which I could do with improving because I always forget what goes and usually end up copying a previous piece of HTML. I know I could just learn it myself but I am a bit lazy and only use HTML sporadically.
Although maybe I might bite the bullet and perhaps doing a course, even though I would still be doing the work mainly at home would be a good way of motivating myself. Don't get me wrong I do understand HTML and can whiz up a page it's just it usually takes me a bit of time to remember how it works and where the variables go etc.
I think I might use this link as a new years resolution - must learn HTML better.

Plus I thought I would post this link for people who aren't so hot on their HTML and would like a free course to help brush up on their skills. It does say you get a certificate!!!
This are the basic things the course cover

And what's next? I bet that the next one will a CSS course.
I've just finished CSS: The Missing Manual, a very good book. I had some experience in CSS before but it's very little and I was always use HTML to format and make layout for web pages. But after reading this book, I will never use HTML to format and do layout anymore. CSS can make it simpler and better way.

really, I find that comment very interesting.
CSS is a bit of a dark art for me. I assume it's a bit of dark art for the occaisonal HTML programmer/dabbler.
You comments have certainly got my interest and I think I should get off my lazy arse and take a look at CSS and maybe a look at the book you have recommended.
thanks for the comment
